Patties Foods Ltd Aquires Frozen Fruit Business

Patties Foods Ltd (Patties) is pleased to announce that it has purchased all of the issed shares in Chefs Pride Pty Ltd and Creative Gourmet Pty Ltd. The consideration of $25 million will be payable in cash with completion expected 1 June 2007.
Patties is delighted to have the opportunity to buid on the enormous success that both companies have achieved under the guidance of the current owners. Patties intend to extend the range of product offerings under the Chefs Pride and Creative Gourmet brands and introduce additional innovations in to the future.
