Patties Foods Honoured For Outstanding Contribution To East Gippsland

Patties Foods has been honoured for its "Oustanding Contribution To East Gisppsland" at the inaugural East Gippsland Regional Business and Tourism Association (EGRBTA) Awards.

In presenting the award, EGRBTA Executive Officer, Tim Ellis, said Patties Foods has grown from being a small family-owned cake shop in Lakes Entrance to become one of Australia's largest food manufacturers.

Businesses were judged on their history and background in East Gippsland, their economic and financial impact on the region, employment opportunities provided, and the support shown to the community.

In accepting the award, Patties Foods Managing Director, Greg Bourke, said it was great recognition for the hard work of many people who had helped build the company.

Patties Foods is a true Australian success story and has retained the traditions of its original founders: strong commitment to producing the finest quality products, providing excellent customer satisfaction and extensive community support.
