Patties has released its first major, national integrated advertising campaign “Reasons to Party” since the late ‘80s. The creative concept developed by BWM isobar (a denstu company) applies the feeling of a party to a diverse range of occasions in a modern and witty take on the much-loved, heritage brand.
Known for its memorable P-P-Patties commercial with Bob Hawke in the 1980s, Patties’ new campaign “Reasons to Party” will be integrated across OOH, television, social media, and radio with comedian David Lawson voicing the audio campaign.
The campaign embraces everyday moments as a time to indulge in an iconic Patties party pie and follows a number of circumstances including a boy home alone from school, and a boyfriend whose vegan girlfriend is away for the weekend. Each scenario depicts how these potentially mundane moments can become a “Reason to Party” with Patties.
As a brand, Patties is known for their party pies which are often associated with just that, a party. At the heart of the “Reasons to Party” campaign was bringing to life the instant feeling of a party that Patties can inject into any occasion.

ELIGIBILITY 1. The Patties Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open only to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and are legal residents of Australia. 4. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any late entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
5. This is a game of skill, which plays a part in determining the winners. Five winners with the best, the most creative #ReasonToParty will win. More details in ‘Draw information’.
6. An Eligible Entrant may enter the Giveaway multiple times per post within the competition period.
7. Eligible Entrants must make their internet entries manually using an internet browser. The Promoter may reject internet entries if it reasonably forms the opinion that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.
PRIZE
8. Five (5) winners will receive 1 $100 VISA GIFT CARD. The Five winners with the best, the most creative #ReasonToParty will win. (see “Winner Notification” section of Terms) Not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
9. Patties reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. Patties are responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility, quality, or otherwise.
10. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winners are subject to verification, including verification of age and residency. The prize is non-transferable. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, local, or other applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of the prize. All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the responsibility of the winner.
11. As a condition of receiving any prize, the winner must sign and return any documents requested by the Sponsor, including but not limited to, an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release. Failure to sign and return any requested documents by the specified return date will result in disqualification of the winner and the forfeiture of all interest in the prize.
12. If a winner (i) is determined to be ineligible, (ii) fails to respond to the initial verification message within two (2) days of notification or after three (3) attempts (whichever occurs first), (iii) fails to provide a valid email address within two (2) days of receipt of notification regarding prize-winning, or (iv) fails to sign and return all requested documents by the specified return date, the winner forfeits the prize in its entirety and an alternate winner will be announced based upon wittiest answers of the other eligible entries received during the Giveaway Entry Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
13. Winners are drawn Monday, 20th June 2022. The Five (5) winners with the best, the most creative #ReasonToParty answers will be selected from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The promoter will notify the winners on or about Monday, the 20th of June 2022, via direct message on Instagram and post a comment on Facebook. Winners will be asked to supply their email and home addresses to be sent their prize pack.
14. The draw will be conducted by a panel of judges to select winning entries from the Giveaway period.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE
15. By participating in the Giveaway or accepting a prize, entrants agree that the Giveaway Parties (“Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete, or delayed entries all of which will be void. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Released Parties are also not responsible for problems related to unauthorized human intervention or for technical malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failures, phone lines, traffic congestion on the internet or any website, or for any other technical problems including telecommunication, miscommunication or failure, and failed, lost, delayed, incomplete, garbled, or misdirected communications, which may prevent the receipt of an entry or otherwise limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this Giveaway. Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Giveaway-related materials. As a condition of entering, entrants agree (and agree to confirm in writing if requested by Sponsor) that to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: (a) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect, special, exemplary, or consequential damages and (b) that any and all claims, judgments, and the award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.

16. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
SPONSOR’S RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
17. If the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including without limitation, due to a force majeure event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process or otherwise acts in violation of these Official Rules, and to cancel, modify, or terminate the Giveaway. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at its discretion based on all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to cancellation. In the event that an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or destroyed, the entrant's sole remedy shall be another entry into the Giveaway.
18. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Severability: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Victoria, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants agree to the jurisdiction and venue of the state and local courts located in Victoria for the resolution of all disputes and agree that any and all disputes shall be resolved exclusively in those courts. The sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
PRIVACY
19. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in the Giveaway will be collected by the Sponsor or its designee and used by the Sponsor for the proper administration and fulfilment of the Giveaway and as otherwise described in these Official Rules Patties Consumer Privacy Policy.
